Ramadan 2026: Dubai announces new service hours for Metro, Tram, Bus and more
Transport and parking timings adjusted for the holy month
DUBAI – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the revised service hours for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH / 2026.
The updated schedules cover Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram services, marine transport, and vehicle inspection centres across the city.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead to avoid disruptions during the month.
Customer Happiness Centres
Customer Happiness Centres at Deira, Al Tawar, Al Manara, and Al Kifaf will operate Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Al Barsha Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Umm Ramool Centre remains operational 24/7.
Vehicle inspection centres including Tasjeel Al Qusais, Al Barsha, Warsan, and Al Mutakamela Al Quoz will provide services Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (morning) and 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight (evening). On Fridays, services are available from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. From 4:01 pm to 7:59 pm, only technical inspections are offered.
Other centres such as Al Mutakamela Al Awir, Wasel Nad Al Hamar, Cars Al Mamzar, Tasjeel Motor City, and Shamil Al Qusais follow similar timings, with Sunday dedicated to technical inspection services only.
Metro and Tram services
The Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will run Monday to Thursday from 5:00 am to 12:00 midnight. On Fridays, trains operate from 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day), Saturdays from 5:00 am to 12:00 midnight, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight.
The Dubai Tram operates Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day), and on Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 am (next day).
Public buses & marine transport
Bus services will continue throughout Ramadan with modified schedules. Residents and visitors are advised to check the S’hail app for the latest bus timings. Marine transport schedules have also been revised and can be accessed via the RTA’s official website.
Parking services
Paid parking zones remain active Monday to Saturday, with fees applicable during the first period from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and the second period from 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. Multi-storey parking facilities continue to operate 24/7, offering flexibility for commuters throughout Ramadan.
